Our Local Partners
Supporting Montana Producers
By purchasing locally raised and grown meat, dairy, eggs and produce, consumers are supporting our Montana neighbors. It’s just one of many positive impacts. Here at 2J’s Fresh Market, we know who produces the fresh products we all love and it helps keep money spent in our state.
Smoot Honey
Smoot Honey Company is a family owned and operated business located in North Central Montana. Their production area covers about 5,000 square miles over which are spread about 5,500 colonies of bees! It’s a heart-and-soul operation we’re happy to support; we stock convenient pre-packaged honey but also have it warm, on tap!
Lifeline Farm
Lifeline Farm is located in Victor, Montana, just 32 miles south of Missoula. Centered in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, they produce amazing milk and cheese products. We have many of their handcrafted dairy products here, including their famous “Montzerella” and “Montana Jack” cheeses!
Amaltheia Organic Dairy
Amaltheia Organic Dairy is a sustainable, organic farm that has been handcrafting organic goat cheeses for over 20 years. They are family-run in Belgrade, MT and are committed to managing their impact on the land. Their spreadable goat cheeses are extremely popular here at 2J’s!
Windrift Hill
Crafters of all-natural, moisturizing goat milk soaps and bath products, made right down the road in Conrad, MT! Goat milk is a natural moisturizer that is high in proteins, minerals, and vitamins that are easily absorbed into the skin. Good for you and our large selection smells amazing too!
High Horizon Gardens
Hydroponic growers of lettuces and fresh herbs in Havre, MT, High Horizon Gardens’ produce can be found in Great Falls here at 2J’s Fresh Market. They love being able to provide year-round healthy, locally grown vegetables to our community, in spite of our restrictive growing season!
Red Rooster Kitchen
Opened in historic downtown Laurel, MT in November 2014, Red Rooster Kitchen was founded with a mission to make truly homemade and delicious jams, jellies and syrups. Today, Red Rooster Kitchen produces 42 varieties of Made-in-Montana products, including 2J’s staff and customer favorite Zesty Pineapple Jalapeno Jelly!
Nourishing Cultures
One of the biggest sources of pride for the folks behind Made-in-Montana Nourishing Cultures kombucha is that they source ingredients locally. Almost all of their teas come from local shops including Lake Missoula Tea Company and Montana Tea and Spice Trading. The vegetables come from local farmers. We carry a rotating variety of flavors on tap, the freshest way to enjoy the health benefits of kombucha!
