Our Meat Department puts the "fresh" in our Fresh Market. We provide a full service butcher block to meet and exceed all of your meat wants and needs. If you’re interested in the highest-quality beef, chicken, pork, and deli meats available, we’ve got your bases covered.

Our meat department has all the essentials for the delicious, nutritious meals that you and your family will love. Looking for something a little more exotic? How about the freshest seafood available, flown in from all around the world several times a week? Or perhaps you’ll find our lamb, buffalo, or elk more to your liking. At 2j’s Fresh Market if its meat and its good eats, we’ve got it for you.

Montana is beef cattle country and here at 2J’s we take our beef seriously. We proudly offer Certified Angus Beef as well as certified organic, grass-fed beef fresh from the B Bar Ranch in Big Timber, Montana. From rib-eyes and fillet mignon to ground sirloin and good ol’ chuck roast, we have all the mouth-watering cuts and options you need.

When it comes to chicken we feel that simple is best, and that our delicious Just BARE line of chicken is simply the best. This healthy, all-natural chicken is raised cage-free, without any added antibiotics or hormones. Ever. Plus every package of Just BARE chicken is printed with a 3-digit family farm code so that you can trace exactly where your chicken came from as well as who raised it.

When we’re not helping our customers make the perfect selection we’re busy handcrafting our signature 2J’s in-house products. We make several styles of sausage such as our popular cheddarwurst or garlic chicken basil varieties. And whether its sausage, salmon, beef or buffalo jerky, it seems like we’re always pulling something delicious out of our smokehouse. Our house made, ready to bake meat loaf is another customer favorite.

We also offer a wide selection of deli meats, sliced to your specifications, including the Applegate Farms line of gluten and nitrate-free products.

The holidays are when the meat department at 2J’s truly shines with our three most popular and most well-received items, namely our prime ribs, fresh hutterite turkeys, and fire-glazed hams. And while these items create a great foundation for you and your family to craft your holiday memories, they are often available all year round for you to enjoy!
