2J’s Fire Glazed Ham Heating Instructions

2J's Fire Glazed Ham

2Js hams are fire glazed right here in our meat department. They are semi-boneless and fire glazed with our own recipe to seal in the juices. 2Js fire glazed hams are a moist and delicious addition to any holiday meal.

These hams are available in whole or halves. Figure on roughly three quarters of a pound per adult, kids maybe a little less. The halves range from about 7 to 10 pounds and feed about 5 to 8 adults. The whole range between 13 and 18 pounds and will feed approximately 9 to 12 adults.

2Js fire glazed hams are easy to prepare too because they are fully cooked so they only need to be reheated.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Place ham pineapple side up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.

Insert cooking thermometer in to thickest part of the meat avoiding bone or fat.

Heat ham until thermometer reads 155 degrees F. Then take ham out of oven and tent with aluminum foil. Let ham rest 15 to 20 minutes before carving. During that time the internal temperature should raise another 5 to 10 degrees F.

Carve and enjoy.

Alternately if you dont have a cooking thermometer you can heat the ham for 15 to 20 minutes per pound.
